I’m working furiously on a visual novel. I wrote one story (title yet to be determined) and I’m sketching art and taking photos for it. I use Ren’Py.

Actually, what I’m making might also be called a kinetic novel, since the reader doesn’t have to make any decisions in the story.

Project Status:

• Saturday, May 10, 2008. I have 83 1024×768 background images and 12 songs, half of which are songs that I made in the past. I’m a little behind schedule (I had originally planned to finish this project in a week) because I realized that my story was poor and I had to edit it. But that’s going well. I’m completely done with the story and scripting for Part One. Now for Part Two, which is really short, and Part Three, which I will probably end up rewriting a lot of because people might think that it is didactic.
• Thursday, April 24, 2008. As of now I’ve made three songs (two of which need some adjustments) and 21 1024×768 images. These images are simply photos that I’ve taken and processed in Photoshop.
